Inside the Lab Sparking the Robot revolution (IRBT)

It is just astounding how important iRobot is to the entire robotics scene, especially in and around the Boston schools. The stock is at $35.02 up a couple pennies.

For example, the robot company Jeff Bezos is invested in was founded by a co-founder of iRobot.

Back to IRBT, I used to think of them as a niche player with the Roomba. Then they go and do something like this, reported Jan. 29:

What had been a one trick pony oddity has turned into the pure play publicly traded robot company. That said the company has to keep  innovating product to take over from the Roomba.
