London's new Viktor Wynd Museum Glorifies Hoarding

Plenty of new museums stand out because of how deeply odd they look on the outside, but it's really what's happening inside London's new Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art & Natural History" that simply boggles all minds. There, narwhal tusks, Victorian fetuses, jars of excrements of celebrities, two-headed lambs are all stars, albeit crammed somewhat unceremoniously onto various walls, cabinets, tables, and shelves. Brought to life by artist and collector Viktor Wynd, the collection originally opened as The Little Shop of Horrors in 2009, but after receiving a "Museum" status from the local council and $16,000 in Kickstarter funding, the shop reopened last November as the country's only "Curiosity Museum," a bonafide explosion of every "wonder" that has struck Wynd's fancy....MORE
