A Scottish Novelist's Thoughts On Bob Dylan's Nobel Prize

From the Midland Reporter-Telegram:

“I’m a Dylan fan, but this is an ill conceived nostalgia award wrenched from the rancid prostates of senile, gibbering hippies”
-Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting

So, not down with the prize comittee then?

Mr. Welsh has some further thoughts on the the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, also at the MRT link.
This is one of the reasons we couldn't immediately award the prestigious CLoD to Alphaville's Mr. Keohane for what, on any other day, would be a walk-off home run.

There's another quote coming and then we'll let things fester marinate for a bit before making the selection.
